Interests:
I became interested in HCI several years ago when I took an 'Introduction to HCI' course at Brandeis University, and read The Design of Everyday Things by Donald Norman. Having long held the dual interests of psychology and computer science, HCI seemed like a wonderful combination of the two. As I became more interested in design, it was clear to me that my future was in HCI.

Education:
I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master's in Human Computer Interaction in December, 2008.

I graduated from Wellesley College in 2007 with a degree in Cognitive Science, along with a minor in Psychology.

Work:
I work as a consultant at Rosetta in Cleveland, for a wide variety of clients.

Working at the Wellesley Faculty/Staff HelpDesk allowed me to see firsthand the unnecessary and frustrating difficulties that users face. I also spent two summers as a human factors intern at Charles River Analytics.

While I've drawn inspiration from a number of sources for this website, these are a few particularly notable ones: Bulletproof Design, by Dan Cederholm; blueprint css; and BgPatterns.
